I work with people to unlock their full potential.
I want each and every person I work with to discover and develop their innate strengths and skills and put them to use in a way that feels meaningful to them. I want them to rediscover their confidence, find their voice and not be afraid of using it.
I spent 10 years working in the city as a solicitor specialising in insurance litigation. Whilst there were elements of the work I enjoyed (particularly the teamwork and working with people) somehow I didn’t feel the law was the right fit for me and this fell into sharper focus once I had children.
I was scared. The law was all I had ever done, how could I change direction without going back to square one? I engaged a coach to help me unpick my thoughts and work out my priorities. This is what I came up with:
– I wanted my work to have a positive impact on people on a personal level.
-I wanted to keep learning and growing both personally and professionally.
– I wanted to work together with individuals in order to energise and inspire them to make bold, scary moves with integrity.
– My superpowers are empathy, communication and clarity. (Each of these has a dark side which I will share more about in due course).
I got so much out of my coaching experience I decided I wanted to be train to be one.
I would be lying if I said the rest was history. Starting my own business has been as scary as it is exciting. I know what it feels like to be fearful, lacking in confidence and overwhelmed. However, I am clear around why I am doing it and so I am slowly pushing through these fears. I like nothing more than sharing the tools, strategies and books that have helped me with my clients. I now support people who want to make similar transitions towards meaningful careers that fit with their lives, their values and their purpose.
